Refund policy
Purchases on the Official Website and Authorized Resellers
This return policy applies only to purchases made directly on our official website, www.linkyinnovation.com. If you bought your Linky from an authorized reseller or a third-party shop, you must contact them for any return or refund request, according to their own store policies. However, our warranty for manufacturing defects remains fully valid.
14-Day Trial and Right of Withdrawal
If your Linky is not perfect for you, you have 14 days from the delivery date to decide if you want to return your order. You have the legal right to cancel or return your purchase within this time frame.
Return Conditions: Tolerance, Depreciation, and Fees
To be sustainable and ensure the absolute integrity of our vehicles, we carefully inspect every return when we receive it. The refund conditions depend on the state of the returned product:
- Level 1 - Opened but Never Used: If you opened the box but never used the board (0 km recorded on the Linky App or Linky remote, clean wheels and grip tape, no signs of use), we will refund the full cost of the product. We will only deduct the original shipping costs and any payment transaction fees.
- Level 2 - Light Use (Test Drive up to 2 km): We understand you might want to try your new Linky 2.0. If you decide to return it after a short test, we will accept the return as long as the total distance recorded on the Linky App or Linky remote is less than 2 km. The board may have normal dust on the wheels, but it must be completely free of impacts, scratches, or damage. In this case, we will apply a fixed 10% depreciation fee on the purchase price of the Linky 2.0. We will not refund the original shipping costs or the transaction fees. This fee is necessary to cover the costs of inspection, cleaning, restoring, and the loss of value of the vehicle, which can no longer be sold as new.
- Level 3 - Heavy Use or Damage: If the product is returned with clear signs of wear, deep scratches on the board or mechanical parts, damage from impacts, water exposure, modifications, or a distance of 2 km or more, the return will be strictly rejected. The product will not be refunded and will be shipped back to you at your expense.
Spare Parts and Bundles (Kits)
- Spare Parts and Accessories: The purchase of spare parts and components subject to wear and tear (such as wheels, batteries, and belts) is final. These items are not eligible for a refund.
- Bundles: If you bought a package containing the board and multiple accessories, the return is valid only if you return the entire package. We do not accept the return of a single item that is part of a bundle.
Refund Process and Shipping Costs
- Change of mind: To make the process easier and ensure safe transport, we will organize the return shipping. We will tell you the exact cost of the courier in advance, which will then be deducted directly from your refund. The final refund will be calculated applying the rules described in Levels 1, 2, and 3.
- Warranty for Defects: If your Linky arrives with a manufacturing defect, the shipping costs for replacement or repair will be fully covered by us, according to our Global Warranty policy.
- How to start a return: To request a return, simply email us at support@linkyinnovation.com. Please include your order number (you can find it in your Shopify confirmation email) and the serial number located on the label under your Linky. We will take care of organizing the pickup of the product directly from your home. Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund will be processed within 15 working days and sent via bank transfer or PayPal (any transaction fees will be paid by the customer).
