Our company was established on April 11th, 2016 composed of the five of us founders. We were a bunch of bright-eyed thirty-year-olds.
In the summer of 2014, we were inspired by our passion for traveling and by our need to have a portable vehicle for our daily commuting.
On a trip to Istanbul, the idea of Linky became reality and the first sketches were jotted down. The following autumn, the main ideas for Linky – and the team – really came together.
We quickly moved to constructing a wooden prototype, with the aim to assess the size, driving ergonomics, and portability.
